19th Week of School (Jan. 24th-28th)

Image
We had a fantastic week at school with lots of outdoor time. Skating was perfect, the weather was cool enough to keep the ice hard but not too cold for us to be outside. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped lace up skates, snap on helmets, and get us safely onto the rink! An extra big thank you to Dennis and Katie Plintz for supplying hot chocolate and timbits for ALL of the skaters. Some of the topics we covered in class were; -learned about Andy Warhol and Pop art -looked at the Boreal Region, it's wild life, landforms and how is was formed -made a new colour of light by combining 2 primary colours together -learned about all of the uses of buffalo -sketched a main coon cat -symmetry
