Week 9 of School (Oct.22-29)

 Happy Halloween!  This week we welcomed Miss.Cook to our class.  She is a second year Education student at St.Mary's University.  Miss.Cook will be with us for 8 weeks.  During her time at Earl Grey she will be teaching and planning some of the lessons.  We are thrilled to have her as a part of our class!

This week we;

-sketched ducks

-continued reading Wonder  

-learned about valleys and 

-learned about living soil

-wrote "Wanted" advertisements for a witch

-completes a word capture for pumpkins with an exit slip

-visited our sit spots

-responded in our Words of Wisdom books

-worked on Spelling

-reviewed double digit subtraction with re-grouping

-went for a community walk

-worked on our basketball skills (bounce pass, chest pass, defending the ball, dribbling)

-illustrate symbols of Halloween with spooky writing

-carved pumpkins

-brought our Apple Witch Dolls home
