17th Week of School (Jan.10th-14th)

Happy 2022 Room #9!

After an extra long Christmas break for the students they were keen to get back to business at school.  This week we welcomed William to our class.  William and his siblings, Grace and Daniel attended Earl Grey before moving to Singapore 2.5 years ago.  We are excited to have him back at E.G with us. 

This week we;

-wrote about our winter breaks

-wrote about our top moments in 2021

-learned and wrote about the history of Christmas crackers

-learned about reflection on concave and convex surfaces

-completed an experiment using 3 different coloured water bottles to look at transparent, translucent and opaque

-wrote and sketched some of the characteristics of the Rocky Mountains

-learned about Pablo Picasso and began a cubism drawing

-sketched a moose
