10th Week of School (Nov.1st-5th)
The students did remarkably well this week considering Halloween was last Sunday night. They all came in ready to listen, share and learn on Monday morning. Much of this week's focus was around Remembrance Day. The student's also recorded their part of the Remembrance Day ceremony with Mrs.Sorenson. The video will be posted in the Google Classroom for parents to see next Wed
This week we;
-completed poppy inchie art (this took 4 days to complete)
-worked on Remembrance Day informational tri-folds. This took all 5 days to complete.
-read the story "The Village Fool"based on a true story. You could hear a pin drop while I was reading, the students couldn't wait to hear what happened at the end.
-completed daily morning messages with Miss.Cook
-listened to the first 4 speeches (Way to go Winston, Charlotte, Callum, and Angelina)
-worked on triple digit addition and subtraction in grade 3
-categorized types of waste
-grade 4s had French with Miss.Morris (the grade 6 teacher)
-celebrated Charlotte's and Micah's 8th birthdays. Thank you so much for the candy bags (Micah) and custom Roblox lolly pops (Charlotte).
