18th Week of School (Jan.17-21)

We managed to have a nearly full class for the 2nd week in a row!  The students are being extra diligent at washing their hands, wearing their masks and distancing whenever possible.

This week at school we;

-completed our Picasso Art

-read 2 articles, answered comprehension questions and completed Who, What, When, Where, Why and How graphic organizers.

-played pillow polo hockey, capture the chicken and had races in gym

-had a session with artist Vanya

-in Science learned how rainbows are created (when light refracts inside the water droplet)

-worked in our Literature Circle books

-in Science made Kaleidoscopes 

-learned about the Grasslands. Did you know it is the hottest and driest region in AB?

-Continued to read "Wonder"

-Learned about Andy Warhol
